Scott Doroski
As
Sean

Now that you are done with the production, what is the one thing your most proud to have accomplish in this production?

I am proud of the way I was (hopefully) able to pull off the wide range of emotions Sean had to go through.  Joking and giving Patrick a hard time was easy and it is more like my personality.  Emotional and sad Sean as well as pour your heart out Sean was much harder to do.

Are you looking forward to seeing the final product?

Seeing yes... Hearing not so much.  Kind of hoping they go with a silent film.  Sort of a throw back...  Although Wade (Cinematography and Editor picture on the right) did emphasis the importance of sound.  According to Wade 80% of film is sound, and of that 80%, 65% of sound is the method of recording it and of that 65%, 92% is the quality of the sound recording device and of that 92%, 24% is the quality of guy recording it...  No one really knows what he meant and I think he just wanted to sound smart?

Was your family excited that you were part of the production?

My family was really supportive of the project.  Going over lines and
stuff I would ask if that seemed right or sound convincing and I always got “Yea perfect, I really felt that!”  Nicole is really good at convincing me I am good at things.  I’m pretty sure I’m not the best at scrubbing the lasagna pan or taking out the garbage but she says it in such a convincing way.

What do you miss about the production now that you are done?

Fighting with the director!  Kidding!!  Actually the entire thing.  It was fun to do and the entire cast was a blast!  I miss watching Steve make out with just about everyone.  I miss the “Guess what Adam will change between filming dates” pool. I thought James’ 20-1 odds on a tattoo would never have come in!  And of course I miss Ana!  Who wouldn’t! Getting yelled at in another language is always fun!

Steve Izant

You're done with the production it took much of your time. Now that you are done what do you miss the most about the production?

Well, coming to the set every day involved a lot of pressure.  Would I do well enough so that my performance would not end up on the cutting room floor? OK, we weren't using film.  It was all digital.  Does that mean that the "takes" that were not used ended up in the "digital dump?" Then I started to worry about whether or not my digital dump was larger than everyone else's.  Especially Adam Puleo and Scott Doroski's "digital dumps."  Man, those guys were awesome.  If I had to rename them, I'd call them both "One Take Tommy."  However, we're straying from the question of what happened after I no longer was going to the set each day.   Well, after the last day, I woke up the next morning.  The sun came up. I went about my business, but I had this strange feeling.  I'm not sure if it was like a mild drug withdrawal or something that felt like a hang-over from too much fun the night before.  I kind of puttered around the kitchen most of the day.  After drinking 37 cups of coffee to get motivated, I switched over to gin martinis to repress the fleeting memories.  Did it all really happen?  Was the mysterious Gulnara (no one really knows her last name and those who do can't pronounce it - however, this all lended an air of mystery to her already good performance) really as talented as Jessie she played? Did I really get to act with the beautiful and talented Michele Akaras with whom I immediately felt "simpatico?"  We both somehow seemed to know where the other one was going in a scene even if we had not rehearsed it. A rare joy in this industry. Was it all a dream?  If so, it was a nice one!

You are coming back for the new production 'If Not Now, When.' Are you excited about his new production with MFP?

I delighted to know that I'm coming back for "If Not Now, When."  I just wish I knew what the heck I was doing in this next production.  In For Money or Love I was the rich, yet compassionate and understanding father to two very different sons.  One was a "goody-two shoes".  Now Adam Puleo, who played this part to perfection is not at all like that, I think.  Well, I hope. Well….I have to admit that there were sometimes that he played the part a little too perfectly.  My other son, played by Scott Doroski was a real "wastrel," which is not at all how Scott is in real life, I think.  A guy as good looking and talented as him has to have some flaw.  I don't know how Casting Director Vianlix comes up with all these marvelous people to play against type. Well, she picked me, so she must know what she's doing! (?)

So, going back to If Not Now, When?, I'm excited even though I have no idea on what I'm doing.  In For Money or Love I pointed out to Vianlix the author of this fine production that Adam and Scott got to have all the hugs and other things with their female counter-parts while I was lucky to get one measly little hug. She must of liked me because I got a re-write in the last scene and, well…..nah, you'll just have to come see the film and stay to the end for my big scene (Thank you Jeni!!!).

Tell us one scene that really was hard for you to accomplish if any in 'For Money or Love'?

It was that final, tense and provocative scene with Jeni Miller.  Darned if I didn't have trouble getting it right.  We had not rehearsed it and the director could just tell that we were't quite hitting our mark. She, the director, pushed us to get out of our comfort zone and and play to the moment. Jeni, to her credit and profession looked at me and said, "Are you ready to crank it up a notch?" Turned out that we could and we did and we completely ignored the "twitters" and gasps from the crew and actors that were watching.
I actually can't act worth a s**t.  It's people like Jeni, Michele, Gulnara, Adam and Scott and Vianlix that make me look good.  Good camera work and editing (Thank you Two Peppers) also have a lot to do with it.

Is your family excited about seeing your work?

If they want their allowances for the week, they'll show up. OK, seriously, Susan, even more than our two cats, has been extremely supportive. I thank her for allowing me to indulge in my passion.

Now that For Money or Love is in post-production, tell us what you think of your cast and crew?

This cast was amazing. Amazing because they are so talented and such great people. Each of them are very special to me to the point that, although we are finished with production, we keep texting each other and planning trips together. We have created lifetime friendships. I loved that Two Peppers Production was our crew. They are so knowledgeable and they wanted the best for the production. Now they are working hard on the film in post-production with editing. In the end, we all want the same thing: to have a quality film that we can be proud that we were a part of.

Now that you are done what is next for you?

I am taking some time off for a few months. Especially with the holidays being here, I'm going to be spending time with my family. Once the new year starts, I will start writing my new production. Screenwriting will take time because I have to come up with another amazing script. I felt after I wrote Deception that it would be hard to top it. Thankfully, I did with For Money or Love. Now I feel I have to do it all over again and come up with an even better script. That will be hard to do... but fun to accomplish.

When will the premiere be for For Money or Love?

We are looking at early spring. But the main goal is to have a good product. I am ok with waiting for the premiere .... are you?

@

What was hard for you in this production?

I think one of the things that was hard was when the actors were getting tired due to long hours on set. To try to keep everything moving and not to lose the quality of anything can be hard. Hard because you can easily say go to the next scene because you are all tired and you want to move forward. But, even if the actors and crew are tired, we need to have quality in it. So, it was hard to keep doing a scene until we got what we needed out of it. But, in the end, my actors are professionals and they get the job done.

What makes your crew and actors different from other productions?

Well, when you are working for Mestey Films one thing that I don't let in my set are peoplefs egos... Nope, I don't let anyone think they are more important than someone else. We need each other to make this production. I feel that when everyone feels equally important then it works out better.

Working with Two Peppers?

They are very special people to work with. We will come in the morning and just stand there for about 15 minutes and talk about God and just be in a peace. That is not common in this industry. Then the day went with peace. The great thing about working with them is that I trust them to the point that a scene can be going on and I, the Director, am not on set because I know James got it and I trust him with my vision. There are not many Directors that will trust their work like that. But, Two Peppers are an amazing team and they are knowledgeable and I can trust them like that. We work well together. Not saying that some days werenft hard. But, we always treated each other with respect and love.

Working with Adam?

Adam is the most good looking fellow... Yes, I am in love with him. On a serious note, Adam did an amazing job with his character. He showed so much respect to Patrick and no one could have played this part better than him. Adam is an amazing actor and I know he has a great future ahead as an actor.

Working with Steve?

Steve will definitely work with us again and I will make sure he has a bigger part for sure. He is an amazing actor and amazing person. I am honored to have gotten to know him. He knows he holds such a special place in my heart.

Working with Gulnara?

Gulnara is the most sweet person you will ever meet in your life. She is extraordinary. She really saved the production by coming back and playing Jessie the way she did. She is just a very special person that will forever be my friend.

Working with Michelle?

Michelle became on of my asst. Director for this film. I love when she gets into a scene and she explains what the character must be feeling. She is very passionate about what she does. As an actress WOW! she is amazing and brings so much to the production.

Working with Scott?

Scott and I worked really close this time because he was my love interest in this story. So, we worked for many hours trying to get where we wanted and trying to give the audience what we thought they would like to see in these two characters. He is a very easy going person and will give 120% of himself. He can be a royal pain too... joking... he is a great actor and I really think you will enjoy his character.

Working with your daughter?

What a gift that was to see her acting so wonderful. She is a natural in acting. She only had one rehearsal and then she got to location and she rocked that set... it was amazing to see how wonderful she acted. It brought many times tears to my eyes. Especially when I would look at James when she was done with a scene and he would only whisper to me across the room WOW! I will always have that with me, her on set with me and just loving what she was doing.

What do you want to say to the fans?

I hope you know that it means so much that you guys go to my website or facebook to see what we are up to. I really appreciate that you guys are so into this new production. You know me keep an eye open because new things will come my way. I am working on new ideas and will share them with you on facebook... F0llow us

Producer/Director

What can you tell us about your cast?

What can you tell us about your cast?

This is an amazing cast and very special. They are very talented and that makes a difference. I made sure when I was casting for this movie that I got the best actors I could get. I believe I have accomplished it. They are all devoted to the production and the best part is, each of them love the characters they are playing.

As a producer, what is the most challenging thing you have done?

In this production it would have to be when I had to make changes to the cast. That is something that is hard to do. To call an actor that loves the project the script and the character they are playing and take that away from them. I would say that is one of the hardest parts of this job. But, as a producer you have to make decisions that are only for the best of the film. Sometimes the hardest decisions are the right ones and you have to do what is best for the production.

Growing up you had a learning disability (LD) but that never stopped you. Tell us about this?

When I was in elementary, I had such a hard time in school. Teachers were so bad with me. I could not read as well and spelling forget it. Some teachers were physically mean to me and would hurt me. For example, one teacher would take a sharp pencil and poke my head with it because I would not understand some things she was teaching me. That happened to me when I was 6 years old. Thank God for my mom! She took me out of school and started homeschooling me. Back when homeschooling was starting. It was nothing like it is now that so many people homeschool their kids.

I never let any of those teacher put me down. I kept going and I became a writer and then a screenwriter. Yes, I still have some spelling problems and sometimes I write things wrong and people will even let me know that I miss spell something in an e-mail or they have told me " I knew you had learning disability because of the way you write" ignorance on their part. I figure if that makes them feel better about themselves GOOD for them. I don't have to put someone down to make myself feel better about myself.

I make myself feel better about me by making a great movie or writing a script that everyone loves to read. I love when they tell me that I wrote an amazing script or that they could not put it down it was that good. So, everything I went through as a child made me who I am today. I love how I didn't let those bad teachers or people put me down. On the contrary, I have something to prove.

Is it hard for you to tell people you had a learning disability?

When I was small I didn't like people to know. Now as an adult if by telling my story I give hope to a parent that is dealing with a child that has LD then I am happy. It seems such a big problem when youfre a kid and youfre in school with LD. I think the teacher makes it a much bigger problem that it actually is. That is when the protection of the parent comes in. My mom never let any teacher put me down (and they tried for sure). It seems she was always in a battle with them. It's not like youfre not going to eventually learn it. Kids with LD are really smart. It is just a different way of learning. Bottom line don't let anyone or anything stop you from what you want to be. Your future is in your hards and don't let anyone tell you " YOU CAN'T" that is not for them to say.

I heard you are coming up with your 3rd production. What are you working on right now for it?

I am actually in the process of coming up with ideas for the script. The story of two people... I can't wait to start writing this story. But, I am actually waiting to start writing it. I want to be done filming For Money or Love and then start. This way I won't get that empty nest :) (I can only hope)

Will Some of the cast from this production be in your next film?

Wow, now that is a good question. Some of the cast in For Money or Love this would be their second production with MFP. So, I think I will give a break to their image and not use them in my next production. But there are some that I have worked with that I would love to bring back. Some of them this is their first time working for MFP and wow they are talented and I definitively want to give them bigger parts. Some of them will work with us again. It all depends. You have to wait until the announcement is made for the new cast. If the fans ask for a specific actor then I bring them back.

If an actor wants to be part of your production what do they have to do?

Look I am open to anything. You want to be an actor look me up on facebook or just email me your headshots and tell me "I want to be an actor". I will then give you an audition and if you can show me that you love and respect our career and that you are good, I will give you the opportunity to be in my films. One thing I love is to find new talent... I love that.

In this film you get to act with Gabriel Voss?

It was such a privilege to work with Gabriel for the first time in this production. He is... an amazing actor. He is one of those actors that just by acting with them you grow in your art. I found myself learning from him. I would love to act with him again. Letfs see what I can do about that... anything is possible. But, he astonishes me with his talent.

What can you tell me about your male actors in this production?

Boy, if you knew all the fan mail or comments I get on facebook about them. My female fans write me private messages telling me me how my cast is full of good looking guys. This means I did a good job as a casting Director.

Can you tell us what the fans are telling you and then put your personal input?

What don't they say lol lets see if I can remember... Adam they say he so handsome. Yes he is... but I think what makes Adam wonderful if you have the privilege to get to know him is that he is such a gentleman. Scott, they tell me he is hot. He is a dear friend of mine and I have known him for many years. I can tell you that he has a great sense of hummer.... Gabriel, many fans comment and ask me who he was because they thought he was also a good looking guy... Gabriel, is a respectful person I only got to worked with him for a day. He is very professional. Steve, they find him very elegant. Personally I love Steve. What can I say about him... He is great!!! Look all the cast has different type of guys and they are ALL good looking so you will enjoy seeing them on the big screen. I even got a good looking crew and lets not forget the female actress in this production.

You came from LA to film your scenes. What was it like to come into a location and get right into filming?

Most films start with actors arriving for the first time on an unfamiliar set or location and having to jump right in, so coming from LA to a location and getting right into filming wasn't as jarring as it might seem. Vianlix and her production team made me feel welcome right away and got me acclimated to the location quickly.

You had to act with Vianlix... she is also the Director of the film how was that?

Directors who also act in their own films is always tricky. Not all directors can juggle both responsibilities well, but Vianlix did so with ease. Part of what allows director-actors to work is having a great DP who can help keep an eye on the shot when the director is not behind the camera and Vianlix selected an outstanding DP that took up this role whenever necessary.

If the opportunity would present it self would you work again with Mestey Films Productions?

I would love to work with Mestey Films again! It was a great experience, professionally run set, and a fun group to be around.

Steve Izant
As
Nicholas Blackwood

Steve you have stared filming for the production 'For Money or Love'. What do you think of the experience?
My experience playing the character Nicholas Blackwood, the filthy rich, financial investment genius, yet understanding patriarch of the family, has been rewarding and yet, despite his complexities, easy since he's a lot like me or is it that I'm a lot like him, which possibly means that I'm playing myself, which means I should probably be doing a better job on set since I think I know myself fairly well and am filthy rich, well at least when it comes to being well enough off to act full time and not have to pay directors to take me on like I use to have to do and am, like Nicholas, can I call myself Nikki?, an investment genius who is still trying to avoid buying high and selling low while always being understanding of those around me who perhaps don't have the same vision that I do, almost like a rich Ward Cleever, perhaps in terms of my intelligence in giving my sons fatherly advice that has no real value in the real world yet comes off sounding like I know what I'm doing which is very satisfying since my wife and I have two cats at home and they never listen to anything I say and actually, after four years, still don't even know their names or if they do just choose to ignore me and go on their merry way, which reminds me of a story....What was the question?

Most of your scenes are with actress Michelle Akaras.
Can you tell us how do you guys get along and what is it like acting with her?
I'm so happy that most of my scenes are with Michelle in the role of Chrystal who is Nicolas Blackwood's physical therapist.  She's beautiful, talented and has great hands. Because of those great hands, with a big smile, I keep telling her that I'm really looking forward to the therapy scenes.  With a big smile back at me she keeps mentioning something about breaking every bone in my body when we get to those therapy scenes.  I'll take my chances.

Adam & Scott play your sons in the movie. Do you enjoy the scenes your all acting in them together?

There are only a few scenes where the three of us get to act together, but we always have a great time doing them. Because Adam and Scott are so talented, I think the three of us enjoy the chance to do a little "improv" and veer away from the script in Scene 22.  While the director has been supportive of us "taking a quick tour off of the reservation" in Scene 22 with our improv dialogue, she hasn't seen what the three of us have cooked up for when we actually film the scene. We just hope that it doesn't end up on the cutting room floor and that it doesn't flip the picture, currently destined for a "G" rating, up to an "R" or "X."
Tell us something behind the scene that no one really know about this cast?

None of us have the guts to tell the director of the picture that we're all devastated that the group nude hot tube scene has been cut. We'd already rehearsed it several times without the director being present and now all our rehearsing has been for naught.
(Good thing the Director didn't know about this)

Adam Puleo

You have finally been on location and have film some of the movie. What can you tell us about that experiences?

The first day was very exciting. Aside from it being pretty hot and humid it went well.

What do you like the most about being finally on location and filming?

Anytime you spend so much time and effort preparing for something it is always nice to finally get it started, so it has been nice to start filming. It is a little odd to be on location and have people walk or drive by while you are in the middle of a scene though, but it is fun.

Scott Doroski and have many scenes together. Do you guys get along? is it fun to work together?

Scott and I don't get along at all, I'm just kidding, we get along very well. We work well together so we are able to improvise at anytime and have it come across naturally.

Vianlix Mestey
Producer
You guys stared filming For Money or Love about two month ago. How is that going?

We stared filming in July and I tell you what it is going great. The cast and crew make it so much fun to be on location. It is still lots of work but I am really happy with the fact that the production is going well and the scenes are coming out outstanding!

Why are you filming during summer and in winter?

My crew could film in winter. Then I stared to think about the outside scenes that would require for the actors to wear winter outfits that meant 10 pounds the camera adds and then the winter clothes not a good idea. So, we are doing all the outside shoots in the summer so we can wear summer clothes during winter. We thought it was a great idea until we realized that is so hot in Virginia that is crazy.

Talk to me about your cast and crew?

I have the best cast and they are so talented everyone has a fun personality and we jock and laugh making the long hours go by fast and it's just FUN!!!! as fo my crew Two Peppers Production is outstanding. James and I have actually worked together in my last production. We have the same vision on what we think is best for a scene. Wade, is amazing and he is very focus on what he is doing. He is making sure he does not miss any detail. I am grateful to God for have put all this people together in this production. It's a blessing....

What do you want to tell your fans?

I want to thank them for fallowing us on facebook and always checking what we are doing.  We are working hard! to make a great movie for you guys and I am sure you all will  enjoy it!

...

Michelle Murphy Akaras

Tell us a little bit about your experience as an actress?

I began acting just a few years ago.  My first film role was for an award winning script, gThe New N Wordh.  I had the pleasure of working with many talented actors on this project and also was a producer of this film.  I have been studying the craft at Studio Theatre, Theater Lab, and The Performing Arts Training Studio.  I am excited to get back behind the camera for this film.

When you read the script. What made you want to be part of the cast?

First of all, the script is great.  The script addresses a real relatauble issue,  questioning the motivation behind a partnerfs love.   Jesse, the character I will play, is a character that I can bring a lot to.  I enjoy breathing life into characters and developing characters to portray and Jesse will be an especially fun character to explore.

What are you looking forward to during the production?

Working with the cast and crew on a film project is an invaluable opportunity to learn so much about film-making and the art of acting.  Once the actors and crew are together and the characters come alive, there is an energy that is palpable, the energy of creativity.  Being on set is electrifying and watching the process of creating a film is inspiring.

To take part in creating a film is such a privilege and my passion.  I aspire to being a filmmaker one day so times on set are especially valuable as a hands on learning opportunity and a way to improve my craft overall.

You have yet to meet the cast what are you expectations and worries at the same time?

I am excited to meet the cast of the film.  I expect we will have a great time collaborating on creating our best work for this film.  Actors portray characters who respond to the other characters on set all in pursuit of their own objectives.   Acting really is a team effort.  I am very excited to meet the cast and look forward to working with them all.

I do not have any worries.

...

Gabriel Voss

When you read the script what did you liked about it that made you want to be part of the production.

The characters are well drawn and the cast is solid. I am excited to see how everyone brings these characters to life and in what directions the film goes.

You have been doing acting for some time now. What do you like about acting and where your career itfs at the moment?

I love not being lashed to a desk for 8, 10, 12 hours a day (which I was as a lawyer for 3 years). I love being able to explore different kinds of characters (action heroes, shy and sensitive characters, serial killers, etc.) and travelling to new and unique locations.

Ifm very excited about where my career is at this point. Ifve been the lead in several independent features and dozens of short films and with each new project, I feel more and more comfortable and confident in what I do, and I feel like Ifm bringing more and more to my characters. Ifve laid a solid foundation over the last few years that has prepared me to grab that pivotal role that will get me to the next level.

What are you looking forward in this production?

Ifm most looking forward to working with the fantastic cast Vianlix has assembled, only one of whom (Ron Bush) Ifve worked with before. Ifm also excited to work with Vianlix and her team for the first of hopefully many times.

...

Vianlix Mestey

What are you looking forward as an actress in this production?

I am looking forward when I film my first scene with my daughter. She is part of the cast and this will be her second time, she and I act together in Deception. But, this time she has lines. As a mom am so excited to be able to share with her my love for acting. Am looking forward to it.

Does she loves to act?

She does. The first time she had rehearsal with the cast she was so scared, Ifm very lucky to have the cast that I have. Adam made some funny faces, she laugh and Chelsea was so amazingly sweet with her that now she is looking forward to it.

Your character is Isabella is there anything that the character and you have in comment?

There are two things we are very much alike. One thing is the way she protects her daughter from getting hurt and I am very much like her, Ifm so protected of my daughter and who spends time with her. So, I can see were Isabella comes from in some points. Then I have to say that our love for our Religion is right on. She is very secure of her love for Jesus as I am and that is something that I love about her.

In what way are you getting ready to play Isabella?

Isabella is a very different character we have things that I can related as being a mother. , One thing I canft relate to (Thanks to God) the lost of a husband someone you love and you lost not because youfre getting a divorce or that person has stopped loving you. That person is actually taken from you when both are still in love with each other. What a lost and the way that most change you as a person. I tried to understand what she would feel so I can bring that into the character. At this point I am getting ready mentally to portrait such character and that the audience can understand her lost and her new journey.

Vianlix Mestey

Questions for the Director, Producer, and Writer

What do you like the most about directing movies/plays?

I like that I bring the character to life when I am directing a movie. I have this respect for the character. I heard one of my favorite actor say gA character deserve the respect from the actor that is playing himh when I heard this it hit home as an actress and as a director. You do have to respect the characters and their story as you bring them to the big screen.

What is the most challenging obstacle you face when you write a script or direct a movie?

I would say the most challenging part is to past your vision of a scene to your actors and crew. You have and know what the scene is going to end up looking like. What step the actor should take and to pass that to the actors and crew so you get your masterpiece takes allot of work. In the end as long as you end up with a scene that you are proud of and that it has the quality you expect of myself then am happy. Itfs very hard to accomplish. Especially when you are a perfectionist as I am.

How did you decide to come up with this story?

This story For Money or Love itfs very special to me. I didnft come up with the idea of the story. My sister Vivian Mestey-Wolfe did, she came to me and said gWhat if you have this rich guy and he wants to know if they love him for whom he is or for his money". Then she gave me some scenes that she came up with. At first I thought this is a great story but, I donft write modern stories. I have always based my stories in the 19 century. I knew her idea was a good one. After I had finish filming Deception I knew my company needed something completely different for our next production. A different layout of the time it would be film. So I took the ideas that she told me and I went from there.

Did you ever get writers "block" when writing this script?

For this script I did. This was something I have never experience. When I write a love story from the 19 century donft ask me why, my mind just flows with the story and I never get writer block. When I was writing For Money or Love I did and I would write something and then delete it because I thought   gthat is not goodh or thatfs not what I want. I would stop for a month or so and then it would hit me. I would keep writing the story until I would get another BLOCKc. It was a very challenging script. Especially because Deception was such a powerful script and I know people will compare them even if they not reverent at all. I would get scarec I would keep going. For me that's what keeps me going the things that people think I canft do. I love to prove them wrong and I like to prove myself wrong. I prove to myself that I can write stories from the present or from the pass.

How long did it take you to write the story?

It took me about a year to write this one due to the writer block I got.

Would you classify this film as a "chick" flick?

Yes and No. The main characters in this story are men and is base on them and I think our male audience will related to there dilemma, I also think the women will love the story. So I think if you are drag to see this film as your first date both party will enjoy it.

Why doesn't your production supporting character Nicolas Blackwood get more hugs in the film?

This is so funny. I wrote an email to my cast about kissing scene and I got an email back from Steve Izant letting me know that his character never gets a kiss or a hugc To tell you the truth I never notice that when I wrote the script. I thought that was just unique and funny. Steve is very humorous

How did you find your actors?

Some of my actors have worked with me before. I saw their potentials and I cast them again for this new production. As for the rest of the cast it was not an easy task to do. I have such a strong faith that I know God put them in my path.  This cast for me is such a meaningful one and the cast is full of professionalfs actors and yea they are professionals but very good people and is great to be able to learn from them as actors and as persons.

What do you anticipate will be the hardest part about making this film?

I think the locations are the one thing that is hard to find. The reason being is that the location has to go with the story. A location is very important for it can become a character it self like Holly Court did in Deception. So, for me to find a location to film is a big challenge.

Which part was the hardest part to cast and why?

Such a great question, There were actually two parts that were hard to cast and they were Jessie and Nicholas. Jessie character needed some physical appearance that when Vivian Mestey-Wolfe gave me the idea of the character she literary describe her to me. So, we knew what Jessie had to look like physically before even cast. So, it was hard to find a tall, slim, and beautiful woman to play the part. When Gulnara walked into the audition and started to read for Jessie, we knew we got our Jessie. It was like she came out of the script and presented herself to me. It was a great feeling to see that.

Then Nicholas was a very hard character to cast due that the actor will have to have such elegances to his person and that formality a man with experience in life has. That is when we audition Steve Izant we saw all this quality that he has and we knew he would bring it into the character. To find that person that has that prestige as a person was very hard. When he walked into a room, we knew Steve was Nicholas for sure.

Have you thought about what you might want to do next after this film?

Yes, I have been thinking about the next story line I want to write about.  I have some great ideas and I will start soon writing the script for our next production. I have to say that it will surprise many people the direction I want to take for the next story line.

What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?

I hope that Ifm still working on Productions if God permits it. I love producing movies and most of all I love when the audience finally get to see my final product after many years of working on it. So, I hope I will be doing what I love to do and that is making moviesc.

Scott Doroski & Vianlix Mestey

Scott, what is the one thing you think your character enjoys about Isabella, played by Vianlix?

The thing that makes Isabella enjoyable to Sean is that they start out as friends.  She becomes more memorable to him because she was a challenge.  Most of his women were easy and not memorable at all.  Well actually some of them are very memorable in an insane sort of way.  With Isabella he is forced to get to know her (her idea, not his) but it turns out for the best.

Vianlix, Scott plays Sean his character is a playboy what do you think Scott and Sean have in common?

I would say they have a few things in common. Sean is very outgoing and easy going not letting much bother him. Scott is very similar to that he is funny and is fun to be around him. He also has the layback attitude of Sean not much gets to him. You can be brutally honest with Scott and he wonft get offended.  At the same time Scott knows what he wants out of life and what he is looking for and is not scare to change his lifestyle to make himself happy very different from Sean.

Adam & Chelsea

What do you guys enjoy about acting together?

Chelsea: I really like how comfortable I am with Adam. I think it is crucial in a film for the actors to get along well and truly enjoy being together. You have to be comfortable enough to go to those emotional places in a scene that may not necessarily be easy and fun to get too. But when you have the support from your fellow cast members and an actual friendship, It makes all of that so much more enjoyable.

Adam: I like how easy she is to get along with, it makes it a whole lot easier to act with her then. I try my best to make Chelsea mess up but so far shes too good for that to happen. Chelsea is a very talented actress, which means that I have to step my game up to her level on some occasions. She and Gulnara both are two of the nicest, and most fun people I've ever worked with, they both make rehearsals alot of fun.

Adam what do you like about Chelsea character Cristal?

Chelsea's character Cristal is like alot of the physical therapists I know, quick witted and always willing to help someone. Cristal always seems to get Patrick in ways that very few people have ever in his life, she enjoys the simple things in life, which is something very foreign to Patrick.

Chelsea what do you enjoy about Adams character Patrick?

Theres so much I like about Adam's character Patrick! He's hard working, loving, fun, down-to-earth, and an overall really sweet guy.

Scott Doroski

This is your second production for MFP. What do you feel you obtained from your first film eDeceptionf that has helped you in For Money or love?
It gave me the confidence to take on a bigger part this time.   Deception was the first movie I ever did and I had no idea what to expect.  The biggest fear I had was not remembering my lines.  Seeing how the scenes were filmed and how MFP gave us all some flexibility with the lines help take that fear away.   The flexibility with the lines also allowed us to all become more comfortable with our character which made learning the lines much easier.

Tell us about yourself? What are your hobbies?
My main hobby would be golfing.  We usually go weekly during the summer.  Once winter gets here I enjoy doing home improvement projects.  Meaning my house is usually in a constant state of change!

What do you like about this cast?
This cast isnft much different from the Deception cast but we seem to joke around more.  Everyone has the same sense of humor making it more relaxed.  I think that relaxed fun atmosphere also comes from the fact that his movie is shot in the current day so you donft have to think about your actions and mannerisms as much as you had to with Deception.

Your character is Sean in this production. What similarities are between you and the character Sean?
I think there are a lot of similarities between Sean and me.  One similarity is Sean seems to go with the flow of the situation and that usually leads to getting himself into interesting situations.  He also likes to have a good time and tries not to take life to serious.  This also leads to a lot of self-made problems.   I would say those are the biggest similarities and sadly (but leads to some funny stories) I have ended up in very similar binds.

Adam Puleo

Was there a time in your life that you knew you wanted to be an actor?

When I was younger I, like many other kids, wanted to be an actor, but as I grew older, my interests changed to sports. However, now there isn't anything in the world I'd rather be doing
What do you like about being an actor?
I love the fact that I am able to become someone else, and create an entire life for that character outside of the story. I also really enjoy the ability to entertain people. People watch movies or tv shows because they want to be entertained and forget about life for a few hours, and we as actors provide a healthy distraction to those who watch/ admire our work. At the end of the day, if I'm able to make a person's day better, no matter how small, then I can go to sleep happy knowing that I helped

This is your first main character. What makes you excited about playing Patrick?
Everything...most importantly I'm excited for the opportunity. I've never even had a role in a film before this one, so this is all very exciting to me, and I honestly can not wait to see the finished product and to hear audience reactions.

What do you like the most about this character? Is he anything like you?
Patrick is a "real life" character-meaning that he is the type of person you could run into at a bar, at work, or on the street running without a shirt. And at this point in his life he's in a position that everyone can relate to...he's ready to settle down and be happy for the rest of his life, he wants that unconditional love that we all look for.
I would say that Patrick and I have very few similarities. Most important being the family bond, he relies on his family in a similar way to how I count on my own family.

Are you excited about filming your first Production?
As I said earlier, I can not wait to start this production. I am eager to not only showcase my own talents, but the talents of the entire cast and crew as well.

Actor
Steve Izant

When you read the script of For Money or Love what was it you liked the most about it that made you take the part?

When I first became aware of the script of For Love or Money, I first thought of the attraction of Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll.  After reading the script, however, I became fascinated with the well crafted plot about the trials of young lovers, love lost, despair and then love found.  A classic mix and well done by Vianlix Mestey the Director, Producer and writer of For Love or Money.  Of course, I was disappointed that my part didn't have any sex, drugs or rock-n-roll.  I got over it, however, and was happy to accept the part of NIcolas Blackwood, the intelligent, understanding and filthy rich father of my son, Patrick, who gets the right girl in the end or does he? And, I'm not even going to mention Patrick's brother, a notorious womanizer (boy, does he get to "fool around" in some good scenes), who ends up on the path to redemption through the love of a small child (Am I giving too much away?).
I spend most of the movie in a wheel chair because of a car accident.  I was hoping that the script would show me getting some very intensive, personal therapy from the beautiful Christal, played by Chelsea Gerhart.  (And, wouldn't you know - Christal has a secret of her own). Alas, she and I play it straight for all of the movie.  Or, do we?  You'll just have to watch to find out.  My legs are broken, but the rest of me is not.

Can you relate to your Character?

Can I relate to the father of the male lead Patrick?  Of course! The script has Nicolas Blackwood, the father, as a handsome, intelligent, understanding father.  That description fits me to a "T, " except that perhaps I am more handsome and less understanding. Well, OK, those things aren't specifically stated in the script, but an intelligent reader, such as yourself, can immediately discern them from the script by Vianlix Mestey.

You have been working in a play, what will you be working on next?

I had a marvelous time as Scrooge in a play put on by the Little Theater of Alexandria called Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge.  It is a loving parody of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.  Since that time I did a commercial for a company called Medical Alert System,  They sell the devices that the elderly (or perhaps any insecure person) wears around their neck.  If you fall down or have a problem, you press the button on the device and help is sent right away.  It is my first commercial that will, perhaps, be shown nationally.  I say "perhaps" since I fear that it will be shown nationally, but on some TV station in Boise, Idaho at 3AM in the morning.  Well, hey, when was the last time you had a commercial staring you shown in Boise, Idaho at 3AM in the morning? Do you even know the location of Boise, Idaho?  It is a little South of Girlsey, Idaho.  Do I hear the "groans" out there?

What made you become an actor?

I had retired after a long, successful business career. I was desperate for something to do and my ego wouldn't let me start working at McDonalds.  So, instead, I started to audition for acting and voice over parts.  It is very satisfying for my ego.  It normally takes 10 to 15 auditions to get a part. That means you get rejected (not chosen) for 9 to 14 times that you audition).  No wonder actors are so desperate for attention and are so insecure. They put their egos on the line and then get rejected over 90% of the time. And, normally, the parts I get are the ones where you have to pay them to take you.  Enormously satisfying.  I had an enormous ego when I started acting.  The casting directors have whittled it down to an appropriate size.  I'm now just a whimpering blob of an actor that is hoping that he can get a free cup of coffee on the set.

What are you looking forward to do when you start filming?

I'm hoping that the director will at least let me watch some of the scenes between Sean and all the women that he romances.
